Fouad M. Obeid

Fouad M. Obeid, born in 1990, is a member of the Beirut Bar Association since 2013.

Fouad graduated from the Saint Joseph University in Beirut in 2011, with an L.L.B in Law, and a Diploma in Advanced Legal English from Georgetown University. In 2012, he earned a Masters’ degree in Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution from Panthéon-Assas, Paris II, and was a Grant-Holder for training at the Paris Court of Appeal.

Fouad joined the Obeid and Medawar Law Firm in 2012, where he specializes in Arbitration and ADR methods, resolving disputes via arbitration. As a litigator, Fouad has wide experience in employment and Social Security law, Insurance and Reinsurance, he also provides clients with initial advice, managing and pleading their cases, drafting summons and conclusions, and ensuring debt recovery for many renowned banks and financial institutions in the MENA region. Fouad specializes as well in corporate and commercial law, providing clients with legal opinions and conducting legal due diligences for groups of companies, and regularly advising clients on identifying the best legal and tax structures in addition to a wide spectrum of other corporate matters.
