Layal E. Salloum

Layal E. Salloum is an Associate at the Obeid and Medawar Law Firm (O&M) since its date of establishment in 2007 and a member of the Beirut Bar association (Syndicate of Lawyers) since 2006.

Born in 1982, Layal graduated with a Bachelor degree in Law from the Sagesse University, Beirut – Lebanon in 2005. She had pursued prior to that 2 years studying Law at the Saint-Joseph University, Beirut – Lebanon. She also obtained a certificate in English Language Proficiency from George Town University. Layal did her internship between 2005 and 2007 at the Tohme - Baaklini - El Hashash Law Firm Prior to joining O&M Layal was an associate at the Fadi Rouhana – Sakr Law Firm in 2004.

Layal handles all legal files related to corporate, commercial, banking, labor, intellectual property (ministry of finance) and insurance law. She manages legal issues for some of the Firm’s prominent Clients and companies, and handles the negotiation, and concludes civil and commercial contracts. Layal provides legal advice, manages cases, drafts summons and conclusions and attends hearings on various cases in different fields particularly in commercial and labor law issues before several Lebanese Courts. She has also in depth expertise in the establishment and registration of companies.

Layal is multilingual, fluent in Arabic, English, French and Spanish.
